Teaching at the Elat Chayyim Center for Jewish Spirituality

If you are interested in teaching a class at the Elat Chayim Center for Jewish Spirituality in the Summer of 2009, please fill out all the fields in the form below. Completed applications must be received by Monday, October 6, 2008 at 5pm.

I have not taught at EC/IF in the past three years, and am separately sending two letters of recommendation.

In 2009 we will be offering both seven- and four-day retreats. Please indicate your preference:

Seven-Day Retreat. Retreats run from Monday afternoon through Sunday morning and include approximately 11 hours of class time. Teachers are paid $125 per paying participant and reimbursed for 50% of travel costs up to $300.

Four-Day Retreat. Retreats run from Thursday afternoon through Sunday morning and include approximately 9 hours of class time. Teachers are paid $100 per paying participant and reimbursed for 50% of travel costs up to $300.

Target Audience:

We advertise our retreats in online and print media to over 20,000 households nationwide. The success of our programs also depends upon the ability of teachers to use their own networks to promote their retreats. Please let us know how you would plan to promote your proposed retreat.
