Days are Coming

Meta-Judaism and A Deep Exploration of the Messianic Age

August 18–21, 2008
Co-sponsored by ALEPH: Alliance for Jewish Renewal

Maimonides asserted that we won’t know the real meaning of the Prophets’ parables concerning the Messianic Age until we actually experience them. But the sages are in general agreement that no one would really want to live during that period of extreme suffering and destruction that is prophesied before the reconfiguration of a New Age.

Today, leading kabbalists in Jerusalem are in agreement with sages in many Wisdom Traditions that we are very close to the end of an epoch in human history. Now that many signs suggest that we are indeed rapidly approaching those final days, we need to rely on a new/old, deeper revelation of Torah Light that can help us remain sane, despite the many grave threats to the survival of human society on Mother Earth. The kabbalah of the previous paradigm essentially revealed the practice of the nefesh, ruach, and neshamah (body, mind, and intellect). To deal with the Days that are surely Coming, we need to access a new revelation of Meta-Judaism for opening the chayyah (transpersonal source of inspiration) and realizing the yechidah (Ground of Being). This is a class on learning how to be Real, when you really need to Be.

Toward a Music for the Third Temple

It has been envisioned that the Third Temple of the Messianic Age will not be a structure in time and space, but rather a Temple of Cosmic Consciousness. To this end, Hazzan Richard Kaplan present an array of powerful music to help spark the descent of higher wisdom into the depths of our physical, emotional, mental, and transpersonal realities. We will sing songs of radical reverence, non-duality, Divine love, and holy stillness, drawn from a remarkable abundance of Jewish Sacred World Music. All songs will be presented in their original languages, in transliteration and in English translation, and in musical notation.
